This week I was working on the journal version of decoupling model. I exploited the possibility of extending the models to more general cases. Following attempts have been taken:

1. RC and RL cases: try to extend to non-uniform nets.
2. 2-net case: try to extend to non-uniform nets.

However, my study shows none of these work. The theoretical conditions for diagonalization has been strictly examined. Theoretically, it has been proven that the cases in the original work are the only cases that are realistically reasonable and can be strictly diagonalized:

1. identical wires.
2. identical drivers and loads.
3. LC=const when n>=2.
